Companies
The difference in working for a company rather than an individual is that the mandate comes from the top and the interaction and the work is with the individuals below. While confidentiality is maintained at all times, it is critical to first have a clear understanding of the company’s vision and mission statement in order to know where the end goal is.
A company that currently has a clear vision of where it wants to go, but has no real definable actions in place to achieve that goal, is just as lost as a company that has no vision. We work with companies in both situations to ultimately get on track to reaching their growth goals. The bottom line is each company is unique and each company has their own unique issue to overcome. Other companies that we have worked with in the past have experienced some of the following issues:
- A company that is in constant motion but with no clear vision of where it wants to go
- A company that has a team that is not performing up to potential
- A company who has an executive who has a skill gap or lacks the vision of the organization
- A company that is experiencing a communication breakdown, creating silos
- A company in need of improved sales techniques
- A company where there is a disconnect between the C- Suite and the rest of the company
- A company that lacks an environment where candor and disagreement can be openly expressed
- A company who is experiencing the impact of employees personal lives on the business
- A company that is struggling with customer service issues
- A company that is struggling to retain top talent
This can also include full-on leadership training for those individuals who have never been in a leadership role. Some of those skills might include: leadership skills, motivational skills, presentation, staff management, communication (including difficult or challenging discussions), up/down & lateral management, giving and receiving feedback, internal/external negotiations, customer-based interactions, customer service, balance & prioritizing work and private life. The training is specific to the role and the individual.
